After uninstalling Brave, which is my default browser, a popup displayed in the taskbar and when clicked, OS default browser selection modal is shown. This appears to be upstream issue as I am able to reproduce with Chrome Canary but could not reproduce with Opera or Naver Whale

Steps to reproduce

  1. Uninstall Brave Browser (all channels)
  2. click Reset via Apps > Default Apps
  3. Set Microsoft Edge as a default
  4. Install 1.71.114
  5. launch Brave
  6. click Set Brave as a default
  7. click Set default in Apps > Default apps > Brave
  8. Uninstall Brave via control panel
