Input Data

Populate the information from the PRISE csv and not the GAP API data

After reading the docs, the integration into GAP seems will be this way:

  • CABI will send csv that contains the farm, alert_date and number of days after planting to act againts bean fly/fall armyworm
  • GAP stores the data for archiving
  • GAP generates message using format based on message code
  • GAP includes the message into the SPW csv

Suggestion from Brian: we create a generic messaging framework because later DCAS can also use the same framework.

Email from Philip: Fall Armyworm message framework

CABI shared the messaging structure for implementing the Fall Armyworm advisories (FAW), so we should have all the documents to produce a pest advisory for bean fly and fall armyworm.

I have summarized the implementation process in the attached document, so please review it. We will use the KALRO messaging structure (PRISE_KALRO_Example) and not the PRIS_PXD_Example layout. However, it is useful to go through the PXD example, as it describes how to use the data from the PRISE_TTA_Near_Real_Time.csv in the messages.
