Description of issue

After brew install watchman
It never proceeds after reaching the installation of the dependency llvm@18

It probably just takes a long time. Try doing brew install --verbose watchman so you get more verbose progress messages.

If you don't want it to take a long time, try upgrading to a newer version of macOS so you don't need to build formulae from source (which is what takes a long time).

Thanks pal. Apparently my Mac is too old to update to the latest OS, therefore needed to pull all the files and built it up from scratch.
