When viewing logbook - it seems the current time is logged every few seconds? I don't know what the value is of this? Or whether this could be disabled?

Current Time is the time clock in OpenSprinkler. If the time in the controller is not correct, your scheduled events will not happen at the intended time, so this is a way to verify it.

New users of this integration will find that this entity is disabled by default.

To disable Current Time after it has been enabled, go to Settings/Devices & services/OpenSprinkler, click on the device, and scroll down to Sensors. Click on Current Time, click on the gear icon, deselect Enabled and click Update.

To re-enable it, click on +n entities not shown and reverse the process.

While preparing this response, I noticed that the time in my OpenSprinkler controller was not correct. At some point NTP Sync had become unchecked. So this entity can be useful, and I have never noticed a performance impact by having it enabled.
