Exposure
FoodEx2 SCA v1.4 or above, is capable of generating FoodEx2 codes for terms that are available under the reporting and exposure hierarchies found in the FoodEx2 MTX (Matrix catalogue) v12.0.

In order to do so, we trained various machine learning models using data from the EFSA Data Warehouse (containing data submitted by data providers during reporting periods). More specifically, we retained only records available in the Comprehensive database for which the FoodEx2 code appears in the hierarchies mentioned above.
EFSA's plan is to update the original dataset whenever new large amounts of data are submitted that could possibly improve the accuracy of the model (check expo-models).
